DSOonDemand ® - legal

DSO Legal is the module for legal and contentious collection. It enables you to collect amounts due, through a library of contentious collection and bankruptcy procedures and specific calculation functions.

It includes the following functionalities:

  • Personal and collateral liabilities
They take into account: the guarantor organisation/person, the amount/percentage guaranteed, the type of guarantee, the duration of the guarantee, the renewal date.
  • Taking and renewing the guarantee
A procedure for taking guarantees and a procedure for tracking/renewing guarantees enables you to manage sureties.
  • Legal procedures
    All bankruptcy procedures are logged.

DSO Legal also manages procedures for individual over indebtedness.

  • Bankruptcy procedures
The logged bankruptcy procedures are: amicable settlement, receivership, bankruptcy and over indebtedness (concerns B to C business). Other types can be added.
  • Account management
To book chargeable services DSO Legal sets up a specific account for each representative.
As it is essential that entries be sorted, DSO Legal distinguishes Capital, Interest, Charges, Penalties, Fees and Taxes.
  • Interest calculation
To calculate the interest due, DSO Legal provides a parameterizable rate for commercial credit and customisable calculation grids for B to C credit. You can set the application periods (rate changes, new accounting entries, legal decisions) for each case and the order of their attribution (for example: priority on reducing the capital or the interest). And for each case you indicate the variable rate, to be applied (legal, contractual, fixed or floating), the assessment basis (at a fixed date, final notice, in event of default).
  • Liabilities
DSO Legal sets up a liabilities account for each customer to record liabilities, their provisions and recovery. If the debt is cleared the liability disappears. The liabilities history is kept in the liabilities account. You can simulate liabilities or activate a liability. In this case, the liability can vary depending on the amount still due.
  • DSO Legal is designed to interface with a documentation system (DMS) and contributes to the dematerialisation of documents (contract, surety, hypothec…): the elements are exchanged and consulted on line.
